The Key to Self-Motivation - Peter Waziri
As our routines become repetitive, we often question ourselves, what is the point? So, how do we keep ourselves moving forward? A goal. With a goal and passion in mind, we stay motivated. Whether it’s to spend more time with family in exchange for longer work days or more volunteer work in exchange for personal free time, it funnels down to what we want at the end of the day.
“I hate to say that I don’t need to keep myself motivated because this is what wakes me up in the morning but then that is also how I keep myself motivated.”
“When I look at the ability to impact people on a very positive level and large scale, it’s a drug that doesn’t leave you. Especially if it’s something that you love doing.
“If you can take the same skill set and transfer them like in a county, no matter what, the next hill is always bigger or different.”
“Nobody can stand still, we all need some kind of passion. And this is one of my passions I have because it motivates me to think differently, and it challenges me when I go through something I’ve never been to before.”
“When I look back, I’m always glad I went through it, good or bad because I learned something from it. Something from this insatiable desire is that I have the knowledge and gained achievements. That’s what motivates me.”
