Cleve is Chief Partnership Officer of Brodeur Partners, a multinational communications company. He is a board director of MavenMagnet, a multinational big data research company and a board director of Signitt, a multinational company that specializes in the creation and management of online presence for senior executives.Prior to joining Brodeur in 2008, Cleve was Corporate EVP / Global Business Development for DDB, one of the largest communications agencies in the world. At DDB, he traveled to 66 countries heading global business development and was part of the team that opened offices in APAC and LATAM.
He was one of the first Western advertising executives to be invited by the People’s Republic of China to conduct seminars on global advertising best practices for both the government and the emerging communications agency industry in China. Prior to DDB, Cleve was SVP / Global Account Director at DMB&B, a global ad agency.
After graduation from Columbia, Cleve was in product management at General Foods Corp (acquired by Kraft). He has a BA from NYU. Cleve has served on a number of boards and advisory positions including Ronald McDonald House, Helen Keller Worldwide, and the CUNY / Weisman Center for International Business, American Assn of Advertising Agencies, and the Corporate Communications Institute.
He has also lectured at Duke University Corporate Professional Education division. Cleve authored a number of articles and industry books including New Business Lessons from Madison Avenue which was translated into Japanese and used by a number of agencies around the world. He lives in New York City.
